Kayaking

Today we went kayaking on a river in Missouri. My brother, sister and I went in cute little yellow kayaks and my grandpa and mom went in a canoe. We parked our car and got in a bus thing with our boats. We drove for a while to get to where we would be dropped off. Then we got out and rowed away! There were some currents along the way where we pulled up our boats onto land and went swimming. We would walk up stream and then lay on our backs and float down. When we got to the spot where we were told to stop, we ate lunch then went swimming. The bottom was sandy there unlike everywhere else where it was all rocks. When it was time to walk back to our car, I was sad but tired.
