Webkinz

I love Webkinz!! I hadn't played it in years because my account expired. I just got two new Webkinzs, a shark and a white fuzzy dog. Their names are Stumpy and Glitter. I live them! I was just playing on it for like an hour with my friend Sarah. :)

What's New?

Got my bet time for a 2 mile race yesterday at the cross country meet (14:10). I'm feeding my fish right now. I am currently reading a book called Swipe. I need to cut my nails! My siblings are listening to music. My sister has been sick for two days but is almost better. Played football in P.E. today. I have to go do chores, bye!

CC Meet

Today we had our first first cross country meet at Big Woods in Geneva. I ran 2 miles and got 18th out of everyone in my race (7th and 8th grade boys and girls). The race race for 5th and 6th graders was 1.5 miles. This was my first time doing the longer course but it didn't seem much different. I didn't get a ribbon though ;( You needed top 10 to get one. I was very sad. After the meet my brother, mom, and I went out to eat at Panera, yum! Our next meet is on the 13th at Aurora Christan School. The pictures are of me in my first year of cc, 5th grade. The first picture is my friend Sarah and I at the Big Woods meet 2 years ago!

Highly Decorated Olympian

I am now a highly decorated Olympian! In honor of the 2012 London Olympic Games, we had our own Olympics in PE class. The whole school did it. We split into countries and my team was Scotland. I know Scotland participates as Great Britain in the Olympics, but we kind of pretended to be a part of them. The events were sprint, long distance, javelin, shotput, discus, hurdles, relay, and long jump. We didn't do long jump or shotput because we didn't have time but we might do it on Tuesday. I did hurdles, sprint, long distance, discus, and was supposed to do shotput. All countries were in the relay. For girls I got gold in sprint, silver in long distance, and gold is discus. Overall for boys and girls I got gold in sprint, bronze in long distance, and I'm not sure what I got in discus because boys didn't do that yet and girls didn't do shotput. Scotland got gold in realay, too!

Birthday

Tomorrow is my birthday! I am so excited, I'm turning 13! Today my brother has a soccer tournament and my parents are about to take him. Today I have to go running. Yesterday I went running before school. I have to go running bacause cross country just started up yet again. We only have 6 girls doing it and I don't think any boys are. Since we have such little numbers, 3rd and 4th graders are being allowed to do it and my sister is going to run! :)
