Basketball

Band camp finished on Friday. We had our last day on Thursday and the concert that night. On Friday we went to Raging Waves. This weekend I have a basketball tournament. Yesterday we had two games and today I'm going to church then leaving for our last game which is today at 4:30.

Chipping

Last Thursday I got a manicure and my nail polish is starting to chip! I wish there was a super strong type of over-coat that you could use to make your nail polish last as long as you want it to. And I call all credit to that idea! So if any of you guys go into nail polish making in the future and want to use my idea, you have to have a business meeting with me first. And if I agree to let you use my idea, I get full credit! And you must name it, HAGER POLISH.

Band Camp

I had band camp for the first time yesterday, not counting last year. I have it all week. We have our concert on Thursday and get to go the Raging Waves-a water park-on Friday. It was so much fun last year and I'm happy to be doing it again.

Library

What is Wrong with Me

Yesterday I put my pants on inside out not once, but twice! I did it once with my shorts when I was getting ready in the morning and again with my pajamas before I went to bed.

Soda

Have you ever had Jolly Rancher soda? It's really good. I had some with my lunch last weekend.

Manicure

Yesterday I went to Nail Art 4 and got a manicure. It was so much fun. My nails are pink. After they had dried, they added little stars and hearts to four of my fingers. I really want to get my nails done again!
PS: Last time I got a manicure, my nails were sparkly red!

Doctor

Good morning! I was just playing doctor. My mom was the first patient. I hope my sister will come to get a check-up later. But right now, I have to go to my second flute lesson. See ya!

Just Returned

We just returned from a fun week at my cousins' lake house in Michigan. That is, all except my brother... But have no fear! He is not lost, but at summer camp in lake geneva! :)
We just dropped him and his friend off on our way home. I am up in my room now. I just checked up on my fish and hermit crabs. Now I have to go feed Isaac's fish, Trooper. Hmmm, I wonder how much pellets he usually gets?? I hope I don't give himm too much...OR TOO LITTLE!! :)
I'm just gonna go ask my mom.

Slug

We went on a hike while we were in Seattle. I found lots of slugs! Here's a picture of the biggest one I saw. Each slug that I saw had a hole on one side of it's head. I can't remember if it was the right side or the left side though. :( Please comment and tell me anything you know about slugs!!

Bye Bye

I'm leaving for Michigan shortly after lunch so I probably won't be blogging for a few days. I'll be coming back on Sunday. The weather said that it might rain! :( I really hope it doesn't.

Hoorah! I just had my 300th post!! This is my 301st post. I'm waatching the show Octonauts right now. I love it! I also like the show Bubble Guppies. They're are Nick Junior if you want to watch them sometime. It's kind of a channel for preschoolers, but I don't care. I love the shows!

Gum Wall

 Has anyone ever gone to the gum wall in Seattle? For those who don't know what it is, it's a wall that everyone sticks their chewed up gum on. I know, it's gross. Here are two pictures I took while we were there. One is me sticking my gun on (left) and the other is me pointing to where my gum is (right).

Flute Lesson

I'm going to a flute lessen at 11 this morning. I only have four this summer and this is my first one. After that I'm going shopping and going to the library with my mom. I wonder if anyone eats their pizza backwards. Do any of you eat some kind of food in a weird way? Comment!!

Dinner

I just finished eating dinner. I had chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, bread, and Dr. Pepper. I can't wait till dessert! Now I'm pretending to be a queen and my sister and cousin are serving me while I watch America's Funniest Home Videos. They just said on the show that someone is going to win 50 years of Disney vacations! I want that!!

Helpful Advice

Here's a little story I just wrote with some very special advice for everyone. Enjoy!

Once there was a boy named Jill-Bob. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends. His very best friend was a very tall person named Fiboo. Jill-Bob and Fiboo loved to play truth-or-dare, but without the truth part because they never had any good questions to ask. When Fiboo came over to Jill-Bob's house one afternoon, Fiboo said that they should play their favorite game, DARE. Fiboo started by daring Jill-Bob. The dare was to swallow a whole chip. This was very dangerous, but Jill-Bob didn't seem to think so. Fiboo started chanting as Jill-Bob opened the bag of chips. He grabbed a chip and started to swallow. Right before it got to his throught, it got stuck in the back of his mouth! He could still breath but the chip was really hurting his gums. His dad rushed him to the hospital. The doctor needed to use a large pair of tweezers to remove it. Fiboo's family also got sued by Jill-Bob's parents and they were not allowed to be friends anymore. So my advice is, don't always attempt the most dangerous dares bacause you could get hurt. Oh, and don't try to swallow whole chips!

You Gotta Be Kidding

Has anyone ever played the game You Gotta Be Kidding? If you have ever played Would You Rather, it's just that made into a board game. Maybe you have played it with me at my house. Anyways, it's really fun.

Thursday

What are you guys doing TOMORROW? I'm going shopping with my mom and going to the library. My brother and sister are both going to their friends' houses. On Friday I we're going to Michigan and we're coming back on Sunday.

Hungry

I feel like it's dinner already! :(
I guess I must be hungry but it wasn't that long ago that I had lunch. I'm going to go and ask for some chips upstairs in a few minutes.

My mom just painted my nails. They are drying so I can't do much. The polka dots still aren't quite finished. I'll post pics later. They're even 4th of July themed! How cool is that?

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July! I want to know what all of you are up to so please comment. My cousins are coming over in a little bit and later tonight we are going to see fireworks. You know when stores say they are having 4th of July sales? Are the sales actually ON the 4th? Because most things aren't even open. Tell me what you think.

Mouse

We had a mouse in our house the other day. It was in our cuboard. My mom saw poop. We had to empty out our whole cuboard and put like 4 mouse traps in it. My dad found the mouse in one of the traps and put it in the garbage. My mom didn't want to see it. I went out into the garage with my sister and looked in the trash. Sure enough, he was there. I think he was small and cute. Some beg to differ...
And the worst thing is the only he broke into was MY COCONUT!!! :(

Happy Birthday!

It was Gracie's birthday on June 24th. She just turned 10. My friend Sarah, who owns Gracie, made her special doggie treats the other day because no one gave her any presents. Thanks for sharing Sarah!
BTW, she posted that on her blog. Sarah, I love the background you have! How's mine?

Raging Waves

Today I'm going to Raging Waves. We have to leave at around 9:15. :(
Raging Waves is a really fun water park. It's the biggest one in Illinois Im pretty sure. It's in Yorkville.

No More Runoff

The runoff that was supposed to happen between the two women who tied in the 100 was canceled. One of them dropped out and let the other one have the spot.

Sore

I'm sore and I don't know why. I hate being sore. I always get sore for a bunch of different reasons. It really stinks. :(
My stomach is sore right now.

Mail

The mail's here! I just saw the mail person pull up. Oh, and they just drove away. I wonder if there's something for me! Or maybe a catalouge, that would be good, too.

Olympic Track Trials

In one women's race for the Olympic track trials-I believe it was the 100 meterr dash-two people tied, exactly!! My dad read in the newspaper that they were going to flip a coin. Last night ont while we were watching gymnastics, they said they would be doing a run off! I was happy because that seems that a more fair way to do it. BTW, they tied for third. And one is younger, and the other one is older.

Gymnastics

Last night I watched more than two hours of gymnastics trials for te olympics. The women were my favorite to watch. Most of them were only 16! Some were even 15! My favorite was Gabby Douglas. She's really good. She got first place! My sister's favorite was Jordan Wieber. My sister is downstairs watching tv right now. :(
Me and Caroline also played gymnastics for about half of the day. I can do a back bend! She can do the splits, multiple back walkovers in a row, and almost a flip. We can both do hand stands, cart wheels, and round offs. Gymnastics is pretty fun.

Poor Little Guy

I think one of y hermit crabs just feel down. He must have been clinging on to the wire on the side of the cage and lost his grip. I think this because I heard a sudden sound of rocks crunching.

LGYC

On Saturday I got back from my summer camp. It was super fun! Everyone in my cabin was so nice and I have lots of new friends! Thursday was burning hot! We were supposed to go biking, but we skipped it because of the heat. Everyone at camp was also forced to go to the lake to cool off! Below is a picture of me painting last year at camp. BTW, my mouth tastes disgusting!

Monday

My first free Monday of summer! I'm going to the library, maybe going to the store, and going to my friend's house. It feels so good to be home. I missed my bed!
