Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone had as good a Christmas as I did! I had lots of fun spending time with my family, going to church, and opening presents of course! Once again, no puppy, but I did get some other great things. One of my favorites is a keyboard from Santa.

Yesterday I got some presents from my grandparents and cousins. I got a really cute book about animals' unlikely friendships, an iTunes giftcard, pajamas, and a real live polar bear! John Deere North American Farmer

Here's a picture from another great electronic game called John Deere North American Farmer. It's a computer game and I don't actually have it, but my friend Amy does. I have my own farm on it called Sarah Hager. I wasn't really in a creative mood. It's a little more realistic than Farm Story. You still harvest crops, buy and sell animals, and add new perks to your farm, but it's not quite as addicting and fun because there is less to do and no real reason to go on daily unless you love it more than any other means of entertainment.

Farm Story

This is a picture of the best app in the world called farm story! You have your own farm and you have to grow crops, water other farms, decorate, and more! It is so fun. My brother, sister, and two of my friends and I all play it. We can send gifts to each other and visit each other's farms. My farm is called Chicken. (No surprise there.) They also have other ones like bakery story, city story, fashion story, pet shop story, empire story, treasure story, and nightclub story, but none of them even come close to farm story in my opinion.

Bad Hair Day

I am have a really bad hair day! Ahhhhhhhhhh! I really hate showers so it's a good thing we aren't going anywhere today.

Soccer

I might be doing soccer in the spring. I'm excited, but also terrified. Don't ask...

We had a white elephant gift exchange at school and I got a darth vader m&m despensor. I love it!

Basketball Game

Today we had a basketball game. I didn't play because we had to split up our games between people because we have to many, but I went anyways. It was an away game against Zion. Zion won by one basket in like the last 10 seconds. We were either tied or winning the whole game until then. But we did really wel considering they have played 4 games already and we've had none. The score was 10-8; pretty low scoring, huh? It's a good thing I went though because Claire was supposed to play, but she only brought boots so I lent her my Converse-not the best, I know-and we switched shoes so there was a purpose to me going!

Walcamp!

Hey guys, sorry that I haven't been on much. We just got back from Walcamp. My favorite part was the night hike and any games that we played in the field. My least favorite part was either devotions or GIC. In case you do not go to our school or don't know what Walcamp is, it is a camp where you stay in cabins and are outside all day and it is the most fun thing EVER!!! Apart from LGYC which is a lot like it. It is another camp and me and three of my other friends went to last summer.

If you have a blog you will know what gadgets are. They are little extras you can put on your blog for people to look at. The little fishies are one of them. There are some really cool ones. For the fish one you can choose their colors, the water color, how many you want, and more! If I find some other cool ones I might add them!

History Project

I've got a pretty hard history project that I'm working on right now. My group is doing Iceland, which probably wasn't the easiest choice. I wanted to do Hawaii first but everyone agreed on Iceland in the end. Oh well, anyways, school is fun and I wanna know what your favorite subjects are!

Puppy Vaccination

Do you know why I don't want to be a vet? Because you would have to give puppy vaccinations! I know it helps the dog stay healthy and all but really people? It's just so cruel. I know what your thinking, wouldn't I rather have my dog go through 5 seconds of pain rather than having him die? The answer is yes, but I would not be there to watch him go through it! OK, maybe I would want to comfort him but... argh! I'm just going to give up. No one even wants to read this long paragraph junk anyways so why do I even try?

Today I went to the doctor and had to get two shots. They hurt really bad! Isn't it scary to think strangers are poking needles into your skin? Sorry, it just freaks me out. Well, I guess the picture is pretty cute though, huh?

Art in your Eye

We went to Art in your Eye in downtown Batavia yesterday. We biked there. We also got ice cream and went to Bird is the Word. (It's a bird store. They have $10.00 birds there that are so cute!) Well, anyway, Art in your Eye, in case some of you don't know, is an art fair thing where people have white tents and they sell art and other stuff from them. We didn't buy anything this year, but we went around collecting business cards and one of the cards I got was one for hand shaped chairs! Here are some pictures.

Helpful tip

Hey, if you guys have a blog, here is a tip you might like to know. You know when your blog name shows up on the tab bar and it has the orange Blogger sign next to it? Well, you can change that picture and I will tell you how. You go to design on your blog. Next, you look in the top right hand corner of the design box. It should say favicon. Click on that and it will ask you for a picture. Click browse and click on the picture you want from the pictures file on your computer. Remember, it must be a square image for you to be a ble to use it. It will let you know if you can't use it. Also, once you put on a picture, it is hard to change it so choose wisely. Trust me, I've tried.

Playdate

After my basketball camp I went over to my friend Micaela's house and we went clothes shopping at The Kid's Closet which is a really cool goodwill store.

Basketball Camp

This morning I had basketball camp at school from 10:15-11:45. It was OK, but the scrimage was the only really fun part. Oh well, maybe it will be better the next two days.

Socko family update

There have been two new additions to the Socko family! The pink one is named Emma and the little one is named Holly. The mother has also changed her name to Lara. There are now five sock monkeys in the Socko family!

I am super bored right now! Today I went to my friend Amy's house and did summer school with her. The name of the school is TVBSS or Ten Haken Vineyard Blast Summer School. The school colors are blue and pink. I am the new assistant teacher. Today there were three students which meant I had many papers to correct-yes!

We went to the American Girl Place on Friday with our cousins and some of our friends that were visiting. The boys went to the lego store and after that my brother went to a Cubs game. The Cubs are the best, Amy! :)

Tangle Teezer

A week or two ago I got an AWESOME new brush called the Tangle Teezer. It gets the tangles out of your hair easier, faster, and less painfully. It also takes out less hair than the average brush. This is what mine looks like. Caroline also has a pink one.

My brother, mom, and grandma just saw a baby bunny in our backyard. I missed it, boo hoo:(

I am learning how to play the Ukelele. It is REALLY fun! It is just like playing the guitar except it doesn't have 6 strings, it has 4.

Happy morning evreyone! I am watching a movie right now, called The Little Princess. It is an old moving. I read the book that it is based on and it was really good. The girls name is Sarah, just like me! She gets her own pony and carriage for free, too!

TV

I have been watching two channels this week, channel 14 an chanel 37. On channel 14, they sell stuff like makeup and jewelry and on channel 37 they are having shark week with all these shark shows. Also, we watched Harry Potter and Pirates of the Carribean on some channel I can't remember.

Grandma's house

I am at my Grandma and Grandpa's house right now. All is going well except now I hate lifeguards because one told me to get out of the adult pool. If it's an adult pool, they should put up a STUPID SIGN!!!:(
...I am never getting a job as a lifeguard...

Back from the beach

We have just returned from the beach. For most of the time, we made sand people because no one really liked the giant waves for boogie boarding. They were so big that surfers were out on them! Wait for pics!

Soccer game

Yesterday we went to a Manchester United vs New England Revolution. We stayed at a hotel with a bunch of our friends and went to the soccer game. It even had a pool! Lucky us! Unfortunately for me, Man U won 4-1. Boo hoo! But I had a fun night anyway.

At the beach

Today we went to the beach. I swallowed some salt water, but that's OK. We boogie boarded, dug holes, and found shells.

A new location

Today we our leaving our friend's house and going to another friend's house. Here we swim at a lake, but at our other friend's house, we will swim in the ocean. Except I don't like oceans so I probably won't swim there at all.

Sam's Marriage!

Sam-my sock monkey-just got married to my friend Abigail's sock monkey, Holly. Their last name is Socko, and they have a child named Roofus. They went to the beach today. I have pictures of them and I will post them soon.

Water Skiing

We just got back from water skiing. I did NOT enjoy that! I did OK on the blow up trainer skis, but I epically failed on the real ones. I tried to stand three times, but never could. I think I may have been to heavy to be pulled on the jet ski. Instead of being attached to the jet ski, someone held on to you while they were riding on the jet ski. Caroline was the best at it because she is the lightest. She fell off once on her first try on the real skis, and that was all. Isaac did good too. All his trying paid off, he was able to squat ski! He also did a really cool sideways ski at the end!

DARN

So now we are planning on going water skiing in the morning, earlier than 7:30 am! I am hungry, but I will be tired tomorrow morning if I have to wake up early!

Future fun

Tonight we are going to go water skiing. I am really excited! Wait... how do you water ski again?

FUN FUN FUN!!!

Today we went out on the boat and went tubing. I went three times, loved it! The third time was the best. We stopped for lunch then headed home; against the current! It was super windy-as in the wind, not as in bendy- and bumpy. These hardships only upped the fun though!

Green hair

Yesterday, Caroline's hair was a little green from the clorin in the pool. Uh oh...

Good Morning!

This morning I woke up at 7:11 am. I thought that was a funny time to wake up because it is like the 7 Eleven store or whatever it is. Later today, we are planning to go water skiing. I have never tried water skiing before, so I hope it goes well. Sam, my sock monkey, might even try it...

Swimming

Today we also went swimming at the country club pool. After swimming, we played ping pong. Not that this really matters, but my racket was blue and purple. It was pretty awesome!

Another day

Today we went on a hike through Flume Gorge in Franconia State Park. It was 2 miles long. It took about 2 1/2 hours, I can run 2 miles faster than that! I wish it was shorter because I don't really like hiking.

New Hampshire

We are now in New Hampshire. We are staying with Isaac's friend Jeb and his family at their beach house. We were swimming at the lake all day!

Dinner at the Copacabana

For our first dinner at Niagara Falls, we ate at Copacabana. The waitors came around with different types of meat and you grabbed whatever you wanted. They also had an all you can eat buffet.

First stop: Niagara Falls

We just left Niagara Falls yesterday. It was so amazingly awesome looking! We took a tour and learned lots of cool facts. I also took some cool looking pictures.

Yummy cookie!

That cookie was pretty good. Not as good as the one my dad ate, but better than nothing. I also had apples and peanut butter. In the car-we will be driving for about 4 hours- I am going to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and other snacks. We are at my Aunt's house right now and will be leaving soon. Actually, we are leaving right now. My fish is going to be babysat by my cousins. I am going to miss him badly! Bye bye fishy!
